The teacher listed in the Education section will receive an email requesting your recommendation. Upon acceptance into the program, you will be emailed a registration form that must be completed and returned with a $500 deposit. This deposit guarantees you a place in the Institute. Students are admitted to Hobart and William Smith Colleges on a non-matriculating or "visiting" basis and are not actively working towards completion of an undergraduate degree or enrolled in a degree program at HWS. As an ESSYI participant you will be considered a non-matriculated student. You will receive academic credit upon successful completion of the program, and two transcripts will be sent (free of charge) to the address that you designate.
